About Dragon Labs

Dragon Labs is run entirely by Anand Sharma - me. I live in Los Angeles and love design, especially for the web. For me, web design is a hobby rather than a job, I do it because I enjoy it. Web Standards

Here at Dragon Labs, we strongly believe in web standards. That means that you won't find any tables, inline tags or other horrible coding practices on my sites. I take pride in my work, and all my sites feature clean, fast loading code. This site is valid XHTML 1.1. Dragon Labs officially launched on January 1, 2006 with the "Geneva" style. The V2 redesign, Codename "Ninja" was released on March 31, 2006 - April Zero.

Skills & Services

I've been into web design for three of four years now. I've really learned a lot and gotten much better in the last year or so - with a bunch of new clients and jobs. I love freelancing because I can serve the community, make money and have fun all at the same time. Web design is the sort of thing I love to do in my free time, so working for clients is awesome.

What separates Dragon Labs from many other companies or people that offer 'web design' is that I actually know what I am doing. Oftentimes people will approach someone who knows nothing about web design, and say that they know web design and can build a website for them - when all they really know is how to use FrontPage and tables. Needless to say, the difference in quality and professionalism is astounding.

Complete web design is what I do best, because I can build a whole site from the ground up with efficient architecture, layouts, etc. For those who already have a website or who need a redesign for their current site, I also offer graphic layouts and design work. I also love to do print design, such as business cards, letterheads, logos, etc. And for those who are in the area (Los Angeles), I also offer photography with professional equipment.
